Based in Cracow, PL — open to freelance work
Motion that sells.
I'm Oleksandr Merkulov, a 2D motion designer turning products — finance apps, mobile apps, SaaS tools — into video that people actually watch to the end.
Three ways I make it
move.
Real client work from Merge Rocks and AIBY, plus the personal stuff I make on my own time.
UI & Product Motion
Web and product motion, UI animation and Lottie work built for real client interfaces.
AI-Generated Content
Performance-first app marketing creatives — hook-driven stories, UGC, quiz and motion-edit formats.
Personal Work
Self-initiated, non-commercial pieces — made on my own time, for my own reasons.
From cold outreach
to creative that
performs.
I got my first paid gig at 15 doing freelance Lead Generation — cold outreach long before I touched a timeline. That led to Merge Rocks, a Kyiv agency, where two years in Sales turned into a Motion Designer seat in January 2025: ad creatives, social resizes, logo animations, mostly in Lottie.
I moved to Kraków in September 2025 and picked up a second remote role at AIBY — officially "Marketing Motion Designer," but the job leaned closer to performance marketing than pure animation: creatives engineered for hook and hold rate, tuned to keep CPM low and CPR strong. Left Merge Rocks in February, AIBY wrapped August 21 — now I'm looking for what's next.

Tools & skills
Lottie's my home turf — I've broken it enough times to know it inside out. Veo3 and Kling do the AI heavy lifting for video, Suno covers audio, Krea covers stills. Everything below gets used, just not daily.
Got something
that needs to move?
I'm currently taking on new freelance projects — explainers, UI motion, social cuts. Tell me about yours.
Also quietly open to full-time roles, if the right one shows up.
